Slow Down

Slow Down, from the self titled album.

I’ve started uploading to YouTube again. Trying to post something new every Wednesday, so keep an eye out!

Played a gig in Brighton on Friday and the following day I had some time to myself, which resulted in this video:

For the Driver

Got some new microphones, here’s my first attempt at recording with them!
Free download from here.

Mr. Brightside

Just to prove how down with the kids I am, here’s a cover of a smash hit single (from about 10 years ago)

You can download the mp3 here

Also, people who live in or near Brighton – have a look here.

People of Brighton!

The RNLI are putting on a show at Audio in Brighton. I’m playing at it with several other acts including Charlie Simpson of Busted fame! You should totally come. Tickets can be found here.

There’s also a competition running to find one more act for the gig, so if you fancy playing on the same bill as yours truly (and that Charlie guy) head on over to the facebook page and enter the competition!

See you there. x

EDIT: There’s now a facebook event page so you can confirm your attendance and invite your friends.

Y Factor

If youre wondering what has become of Y Factor, I have changed it’s name and moved it to my new Scratch That Records blog. It’s now called Scratch That Recommends (see what I did there?) and won’t be limited to albums.

Check out the first post here. And let me know what you think either on tumblr by reblogging, or twitter using the hashtag #STRecs. I hope you’ll follow the new blog – if you have tumblr you can do that here, if not you can follow on twitter or facebook where I’ll link all the articles, or add to your RSS reader of choice.

March On

Just a quick update as I have updated some things.

1. You can now hear almost all of my music on Spotify, since I’ve just added two more albums on there (including Winter). So please, listen, share, make playlists, do whatever it is you do on Spotify!

2. My bandcamp page can now be used to buy single songs as well as full albums. It’s cheaper than itunes and you can download at higher quality. Bandcamp is ace.

3. is now more than just a shop. There’s even a tumblr you can go follow if you’re into that.

4. New video.

5. Oh shit! Almost forgot – I produced an E.P. for Ed Stockham and it’s just come out. Here it is on bandcampitunesSTR. I suggest the physical copy as it comes in a comic book!

6. You’re cool.
